BCCC reached out and were invited to lead the Sunday Service for Beacon Community Church at Wibsey, Bradford on 9 Dec 2012. The sermon is about “Chinese Favourite and Jesus’ Favourite – Salted Fish” by Bro Kevin Cheung, with responding hymn “Lord, I Come to You” led by Grace Cheung.

Prayer items for week ending 4 Nov 12

Please pray for Pastor Irene’s mother. On 1 Nov, she suffered from a stroke and is currently in the Intensive Care Unit. Pray that God will heal her and recover fully from the stroke without ill effects. Pray for Pastor and her family.
Pray for Johnny’s health. Johnny has been prescribed new drugs with less side effects. Continue to pray that the new treatment will be effective.
Praise God for the safe arrival of LiZhu & Xue Bin’s baby boy and pray for the family during this new adjustment.
Pray for the rehabilitation and recovery of Kevin Cheung’s father at home.
Pray for Mrs Sun’s chronic backache.
Pray for those affected by Hurricane Sandy in the Caribbean and North America, especially those who have lost homes or loved ones that they can find peace and comfort in God.
Pray for the students who attended our gospel meeting on 27/10 will have the heart to seek God, and come to join our meetings more often.
Pray for Bro Ah Choi and Sis Ah Zhi who are being baptised today. May the Holy Spirit move them to continue to grow in the love of our Lord.

BCCC Music & Drama Night 2012 by COCM

An evangelistic meeting packed with games, songs, and drama dedicated for the Chinese students followed by a short sharing by Mr Gordon Lam from COCM. The meeting is conducted in Mandarin.

Next Sunday 4 Nov is a baptismal & church anniversary service. We invite brothers and sisters to bring a dish and so we can enjoy a good meal together at the tea fellowship. We will not have open Church House on that day.
COCM organise two Mandarin Camps titled Only Jesus. For Family and Young professionals, it is from 24 Dec – 27 Dec. For Students, it is from 28 Dec to 1 Jan. The fee for each Adult and Kids is £90 and £45 respectively. For more details, please contact Pastor Irene Chan.
